NAfME students carol at Tabitha
NAfME students carol at one of Tabitha's locations in Crete.

Doane’s National Association for Music Education (NAfME) chapter knows the best way to spread holiday cheer is caroling across Crete for all to hear. The students spent one night the week before final exams caroling at homes and Tabitha's Long-Term Care & Skilled Nursing Residences.

The group stopped at current and former Doane faculty members’ houses — including current band director Dr. Andy Feyes, past director Dr. Jay Gilbert and president Roger Hughes — and elder community members who students are close with.

NAfME serves to expand the knowledge and experiences for students who are interested in music education.
