Meet the People Who Support Doane University

Doane recognizes donors who have invested in our university in many ways, including Giving Societies, events, and donor publications, including Doane University's President's Report.

Endowed Fund Reporting

Many donors have created named endowed funds such as professorships, scholarships, internships, fellowships, and faculty development funds. Doane University generates reports on many of these funds on an annual basis, illustrating how the donor's gift has been used to support students, faculty, and university programs.

Giving Societies

Gifts to Doane University help to support the mission and experiences at the university. Every gift is important to sustaining our vision of academic excellence and quality. To recognize this tremendous investment, Doane University has established donor societies and clubs. Through events and publications, we hope to keep society and gift club members informed about the activities and initiatives of the university.

The Heritage Society

The Heritage Society allows Doane to recognize individuals who make a gift through the donation of an estate, deferred or planned gift. Estate, deferred and planned gifts are instrumental in the growth of the endowment fund.

The gold level recognizes individuals who have committed to an irrevocable gift. Silver level recognizes individuals who have made a revocable gift commitment.

Gifts may be channeled to specific areas in the university such as school, library, acquisitions or instructional equipment or left to be used where needed most.
